Why did you choose to become a GP?
I chose to become a GP because I enjoy multiple areas of medicine and wanted the flexibility to be able to practice across many areas. In addition, it was one of the pathways that also allowed me to combine my interest in aviation.
Why did you choose to train with ACRRM?
ACRRM offers a much more comprehensive training program than RACGP, which not only prepares you for rural work, but trains you to be a well-rounded and better equipped true generalist. It is also the college that will best prepare me to work with some of my future potential employers e.g. RFDS, Australian Antarctic Division or the Australian Defence Force.
